Started in 1958, the Euro Champ competition brings the men’s senior national teams of European countries together to compete for the title of ‘Champions of Europe’. This year, France will host the finals of the 15th edition, the third time the country will have the honour. Spain, champions in 2008 and 2012, will be bidding to make it three Euro Champ titles in a row. At the same time, five other countries – including Albania, Iceland and Wales – will be making their first appearances in a Euro Champ finals.
